How recommendations, corrections and visibility work

Koufonisia App is built to stay practical, independent and revisable. That means beach, boat and stay recommendations remain editorial, commercial visibility stays separate, and changing sea conditions are handled more cautiously than stable facts.

Editorial standards

1

We do not sell best-of positions inside guide pages

A business relationship does not automatically create a featured place inside beach, stay or route pages. Editorial usefulness comes first.

2

Commercial visibility should remain visibly separate

If partner space exists, it should appear as partner space rather than disguised neutral advice. The guide is not supposed to blur that line.

3

Stable public details are checked before publication

Official names, village geography, durable access details and other stable facts deserve stricter checking before publication.

4

Sea state, small boats and crowd rhythm are handled with caution

Boat reliability, wind, sea state, shade, walking effort and crowd density can change whether a recommended sequence still makes sense. In those cases we prefer useful caution over false certainty.

5

Recommendations can change when the island reads differently

If access changes, if quality drops or if a village-to-beach or Ano-to-Kato sequence no longer gives a clean Koufonisia reading, a recommendation can be revised or removed.

6

Corrections help most when they are specific and local

The strongest correction names the issue clearly: wrong access, outdated fact, weaker quality, incorrect location or a sequence that no longer fits the island well.

Commercial boundaries and updates

Need to correct something or ask about visibility?

Use support for factual corrections, local updates or business questions. The more precise the note, the more useful the review.

Ferry times, local boats, sea state, seasonal food service and opening hours can change faster than the islands' geography.
